La Vergne finance chief earns Certified Municipal Officer award
Phillis Rogers, finance director for the city of La Vergne, has been awarded the Certified Municipal Finance Officers certificate by the Institute for Public Service of the University of Tennessee. She was presented the award during a Jan. 27 a ceremony on the State Capitol in Nashville.
